disney magic europe 2016

I have been watching prices every day for about a month now, keep dropping a little then go up. Last couple of days they are on the up, will wait for a deal, no rush.

We were in New York at Easter and got a great deal at the Crown Plaza in Times Square. It included free breakfast for two adults and the hotel was great.

Stayed there last time we visited. Would like to stay there again but £270/nt last time I checked just for room only.

That's expensive. We got it in a deal with BA and the whole package worked out quite reasonable.

I think we are coming over for the day. Might even stay til the fireworks as she departs at 10:15pm.
Any idea where we will find a reasonable priced parking space near to the cruise terminal? Will probably arrive late morning.

We went last year to the Cunard event and parked just a short walk from the docks for £5 all day , It was a gravel parking lot with a attendant at the gate will try check with my dad what the street was called.

Also going over on 12th can't wait

We were all set to go but DMIL had a stroke yesterday so spending a lot of time at Pinderfields. Going to Liverpool will have to be a last minute decision when we see how she is by then, she is very confused at the moment.

so sorry to hear this Wayne......Karen and her mum are in my thoughts...

Thanks Beth. She seemed slightly better today compared to yesterday but still confused. There were no physical signs at all, just the confusion. Further tests today have found limited eyesight in one of her eyes. Matt came home from Uni to see her. He asked a nurse lots of questions (gave her a bit of a grilling lol) at the end she said " am I dismissed now?" Looks like he is better than us at dealing with this sort of thing, he came away with loads of info booklets.

great that Matt was there and able to get information....it's all very scary, especially feeling powerless to help...

Sorry to hear that, hopefully she starts recovering quickly. I have to say having just spent nearly a month in pinderfields I found it comfortable stay and all the staff were brilliant so I'm sure she's been well looked after

We've booked the transatlantic for next year, very excited!
We loved the 2014 route too but nice to do something different this time and planning a few nights in New York after. Just a while to wait now!

Would love to do a transatlantic one year - love the sound of all those sea days!

Wayne - sorry to hear about your DMIL, thinking of you all and hoping she makes a good and speedy recovery. :grouphug:

The sea days are great on Transatlantic cruises, they put extra activities on that you don't usually get to do like a backstage tour of the theatre.

Thank you, we think there is a slight improvement but its early days.

Very sorry to hear about your MIL Wayne.

We are planning on going 12th to see the Magic (workmates think I've gone mad!)
