hey im jenny,

my ma has been on this message board for nany years so i decided to try it out...
this is my first disney cruise & i really have like no idea what to expect.
is the teen program fun? is the food good?
AHHHHH PLEASE HELPP!!

The entire experience is fun! I mean come on it's Disney would you expect less? lol. But seriously the teen program is great there are things to do 24/7 and the food is amazing, my favorite resturaunt is artist point (I don't know if that's what it's called on the Magic but that's what it is called on the Wonder) because the walls and the servers outfits start out black and white at the begining of the meal and as the night progresses so do the paintings and the outfits, it's so cool.

well i have been on 4 cruises and i loved them all.
so when r u goin? i am going this christmas

I've been on 2 cruises. One last Dec, over Christmas (wonder), and one just like a week ago, March 15-22 (magic)

All I can say is wash your hands, a lot!! We went on a second one so soon because on the first one me and my brother got really sick.. not seasick, but the GI sickness that makes you puke your guts out.. NOT fun. We were quarantined for 48 hours (keep in mind this was a 4 day cruise..) so missed half of the cruise, it sucked except we were able to get off at the two ports of call (Nassau, and Castaway Cay) which was awesome.

I was seriously OCD about germs and went to find wipes all the time (they give them to you before all your meals, but we washed our hands in the bathrooms first also) and the whole time i touched probably about 6-7 doors during the whole 7 days, not including our stateroom door. I let other people touch them, or i used a wipe to grab it :P Same with the ice cream machine, i always used a wipe, and elevator buttons..

Anyway, I probably was a little too paranoid, but none of us got sick this time!! :) Its also possible we got sick from the airplane.. or possibly our waiters. I honestly think the staff is part of the problem sometimes. At our first cruise I went to dinner the first night, was sick the second as was our waiter.. although i guess its possible we got him sick too, lol. They come back after like.. one night, Im sure they are working while they are still contagious.

Overall the cruises are SO much fun.. one of my favorite things was the karaoke! And the food is (mostly) awesome.. I got some fish thing I did not like, but especially some of their pasta stuff is AWESOME.

Personally, I did not really enjoy the teen area.. but thats just me. I went up to the Stack (on the Magic, its the Loft on the Wonder) a few times and met a group of people that were really fun to talk to. I saw them numerous times around the ship too. I mainly didn't go up there because my sister and our friend (who we know from school they happened to sign up on our same cruise!) both of them are pretty quiet and they actually NEVER went up to the Stack :P I usually was with them.. lol we spent a LOT of time in the store.. kind of sad actually. Our friends sisters however spent almost the whole time up there, they loved it.

Also make sure you go to all the evening shows! They are all REALLY good.

Its almost impossible to not have a great time on any Disney Cruise! (Unless of course you get sick.. lol) You'll have a blast!

I hate the hijack this thread, but were you ever in the stack? and how old are you? I was on that cruise also, so i probably saw you if you ever happened to pop up.

Anyways back on topic.
DCL is awesome, you will meet alot of great people your age. The crew is flat amazing, walking down the halls they will say hello to you and stuff like that.

They give you a alcohol wipe or hand sanitizer before you enter any dining rooms. But still wash your hands more like the last poster said.

Ive been on 3 DCL cruises and LOVE them, sadly I wont be cruising for a few years since I enter college next year and will have no money.

The Stack offers many activities for everyone, there are only a few activities that you are separated by age, so its not to bad. They have dances late at night, normally not starting until 11:30 or later.

the teen program was awesome when i could go met a bunch of people I still keep in touch with, now at times I miss it, but then again the adult clubs are awesome now, and still met a lot of great people. But you prob will love a disney cruise :goodvibes

On the Magic its called Animators Palate ^_^ and i must agree it is really neat how the color of he walls and servers outfits change change with the music!!

The Disney Cruise is just amazing I have been on 2 both on the Magic I have yet to be on the Wonder. But the food is just amazing and ALWAYS there no matter the time of day! Really open on deck you can get pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, chickentenders alot of good stuff not to mention when you go to dinner the choices will be different every night and there all really good. But as for the teen club I didnt spend much time in them I went like the first two days and once I found a few people to hang out with we kinda just did our own thing and still had a blast. Theres just sooo much to do on the ship you will really with that there were more hours in a day! ^_^ I hope you have a blast its such an amazing experience and so much fun. I cant wait till December to do it again ^_^

I'm going on a cruise pretty soon too. I'm really excited I've looked up on it a bunch.
There's a pretty helpful link if you're going on the Magic. But it won't let me post it yet. I'm too new I guess haha.

I'm Torri btw. :]]
