Disney Magic At Its Best!

We just returned from WDW and it was the best trip EVER! We started off at POFQ and absolutely loved it. We found the beds to be comfortable and the size of the resort made getting around a breeze. I LOVE Deluxes, but I would not ever hesitate to stay there again!!! In the middle of the week (the day before mine and DH's anniversary), we moved over to the GF. After providing a photo ID, the CM confirmed that we had a Lagoon View Room and then promptly informed us that we had been upgraded to a Honeymoon Room in the Main Building turret, 4th Floor Concierge. (Ummmm!!!!!!!) It was amazing! (We DID get married at WDW - I'm sure they had that info) In my excitement, I decided to go to guest services to order a bottle of champagne. They proceeded to send a complimentary bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries.

We also received perks at restaurants for our anniversary and my B'day.

Lesson learned...NEVER hesitate to tell them it is a special day! I realize that sometimes perks are few and far between, but they DO happen!!

Thanks for the review of POFQ. We have never stayed there but we are planning to go for our 8 year wedding anniversary. I am glad to know it 's a great place to stay, especially from someone who is familar with the deluxes.
