We would like to book a Disney cruise next year and would like to have a large porthole to look through. Is category 9c a large porthole on deck 2? Thanks,
Deluxe Oceanview Staterooms fall into 2 Categories—8 and 9. Category 8 rooms are located on Decks 5, 6 and 7. Category 9 rooms are situated on Decks 1 and 2—with convenient proximity and access to restaurants and nightclubs.

Yes, 9Cs are on deck 2 forward and aft. And have a large porthole. The 9Bs are midship on deck 2 and have a larger porthole. But the difference isn't really that much. Here's a 9B:
For comparison, here's the porthole in Cat 9C on Deck 2 on the Magic. Do note that in this stateroom, the porthole is at an angle towards the sea (you'll notice that in the mirror), so in the photo, it appears a bit smaller than it really is. Nontheless, you can see variance between the 9B and 9C photographs by looking at where the edge of the porthole meets the shelf below the window.
Bummer! I have a 9c booked on the Wonder! Thought the only difference between and 9a/b/c was cabin location. 6 cruises in and I have never noticed this. Darn!!

It's really not that bad. I don't have a picture of our 9C, but this is an outside view of the ship. You can see that the 7 portholes on the right (lower level) are a bit smaller than the next ones. But it certainly seemed large enough in the room.

Sorry I'm still thinking about this! Are the smaller portholes just the seven cabins that are most fwd? We are 9c but past the first seven, so maybe we have the larger, non angled window? Or no? Thanks!
