Hi everyone! Now that we're in double digits (90 days, woo-hoo!) I have a couple questions if anyone can help me out. First, did anyone find out if we can book fast passes? And if so, 30 days, 60 days? Second, is there anywhere on the Disney cruise site to find out what days are formal, semi-formal, the costume contest, etc? I'd like to book a Palo dinner but it would be helpful to see what the schedule is first. Thanks for any help.

Sunday is formal night.

Thursday is semi formal night

Tuesday is Pirate night

No announcement but logic indicates that Trick or Treat/Halloween Night would be Monday.

Supposedly fast passes will work when you walk up to the line. No reserving them ahead of time. There is talk about linking to MDE on the bus ride there but nobody knows for sure.

I actually do know the answer to the fast passes. The night before they will hand out park passes and on each park pass there will be three preloaded fast passes on them. You can go on any ride at any time in any park. You can link them to your app on the bus ride to the park. After you use all your fast passes you can make others at a kiosk (although I did hear rumors you may be able to make more through the app).

Question: if we shop as we are in the parks that day, can we have them send the merchandise ahead to the ship as if it were a resort, or do we have to carry it around with us all day? TIA

We booked this cruise on opening day. My husband and I are both 52. It's our 5th cruise but our first on DCL. We live on Long Island so we will take the LIRR to Penn and taxi from there. I love the idea of being able to walk off before everyone else and not wait. These cruises are not cheap, Prima Donna, not me, needed a balcony SO $4800 later he got his wish. I'm really looking forward to Castaway cay. I've heard nothing but great things.

We will also be joining you on this cruise! We are a family of 4 ( kids are 4 and 6) on our first cruise. We are driving in from outside Montreal. We are hoping to meet another family who speaks French So our kids can make some friends (they are just starting to learn English).

We just booked this cruise and very excited to be sailing out of NYC! We have sailed with Disney...a lot of times...I believe this is cruise #7 for most of us. Sailing with my DH, and kiddos 18 (girl), 15(boy), 5(girl) and 3(girl). We are from Minnesota. Excited to learn more about the activities on this sailing. We have done the Halloween sailing before and it's a lot of fun. The costumes are wonderful addition and of course one of our favorites is Pirate Night! Anyone know of "special" activities on these cruises? Excited to get to know all of you. SO excited and anxious to count down the days together!

OK- We will be getting our park tickets once we are on board (guessing they will be in our rooms like our dining tickets) and included with the ticket will be one fastpass ticket per admission ticket. You can use this on any ride/feature you would like, whenever you would like, once you are in the parks. We will not be able to take advantage of setting up multiple fastpasses ahead of time like you can when you pre-purchase your Disney World Park tickets. At least we will get one! I'm sure once we get the tickets on board, we could use those numbers to make more reservations before we leave port?!

Hi. Welcome! Since you've done a Halloween cruise before, question... Does most everyone dress in Disney costumes? Would I feel silly and out of place with a non- Disney costume?

we have done Halloween cruise before and, of course, most are Disney related but I think non-Disney would be just fine! I remember seeing some non-Disney and they were fun! You wouldn't feel awkward or out of place at all I don't think. Just fun for all! IMHO

I Did find the groups on the other sites but what I was saying before was that all the info u find leads u to DIS boards but then getting here there is not a lot to say about the FE program. It is my first time doing it so when I researched it this was the place to come but then I am told to go elsewhere so really what I the point of being on DIS if I can get the same info and meet the same ppl on the social media site. That kind of set up kinda pushes people away from this site and off to the other ones and it makes it very confusing to those who are new to it.

Hello all! We just changed from a 4 night cruise in November to this one, and we are sooooo excited! I am traveling with my Mom and 12 year d daughter, and this is our first cruise. We are from the Hudson Valley area, about an hour North of Manhattan.

Hi! It's just me (45) and my mom (72) traveling. We are the Disney nuts of the family. We so enjoyed our first Disney cruise and can't wait for this one. We loved the 2 full at-sea days on the way down and the 2 full at-sea days on the way back. It gives plenty of time to enjoy all the ship has to offer. I snorkeled for the first time in my life at Castaway Cay so if that's your sort of thing I recommend it. And you may want to buy a one-time use underwater camera to take underwater pics. I got one from Amazon for about $8. We are early people so we like to get up early and be at breakfast around 7; it's much less crowded then. We also prefer the early dinner. I'll try to think of some more tips. It's so nice to "meet" you all.

We have 3 generations going! Myself, my daughter and my granddaughter! Nice to meet you too!

Looks like there be at least a couple of first timers. I told my husband last year when I booked this cruise that it is on my bucket list.

We are in Dutchess County, N of NYC. Though we're veterans at WDW, this will be our first cruise. Does anyone have experience cruising with a 'tween? We're kind of worried that there will be enough to keep her happy, as she's a little old for characters and a little young for a lot of the other stuff..
