Disney Luggage tags

We bought a vacation package and in 2017 and 2018, we received Disney luggage tags with the Magic Bands. This year, we upgraded to the new magic bands on the first day available and they arrived a while ago in the same packaging as in years past but no luggage tags. Are we supposed to get them or do they not send those anymore? We leave in a month.

I got one with my Magic Band. It was tucked into the side of the box under a flap.

Are you talking about the luggage tags for the Magical Express? If so those are sent separately. We leave in about 3 weeks and just received ours about a week ago.

I am hoping they are sent separately but the last two years they were tucked into the magic band package (as a poster previously commented) but not this year.

Did you choose to get the upgraded bands? I did this for our July trip and did not receive luggage tags. It is a split stay, and for the second half, I did receive luggage tags with the non-upgraded bands. So it appears to me that luggage tags only come with the “basic” Magic Band. I’m disappointed as I love the luggage tags.

We did upgrade the bands but I wouldn't think that would cancel out us getting the tags.....there was an upcharge for the bands. We are kind of disappointed and I may message the agent and see if we were supposed to get them.

I got an upgraded Magic Band and also a luggage tag. I only got one but I'm traveling alone. I also got a Magical Extras card and some vouchers for Mini Golf and some ESPN sports thing. They were all in the box with the band. You should probably contact your agent or Disney Customer Support.

I contacted my Dreams agent yesterday afternoon and she is working on this for me today! She was very helpful!!

I'm not sure about that because in years past the Disney luggage tags have always been in the same package as the Magic Bands. I don't think the TA's handle everyones Magic Band shipments.

Our experience using a TA is that the shipping address defaults to the agency’s address. You have to go into your MDE account and change the shipping address or the agency will get the bands.

Wow, it seems it is a toss up as to how things work. It would be easier on everyone if Disney handled everything the same, TA or not.

We booked our own package, with one upgraded MB and one plain one. We got one luggage tag in the box and I read somewhere that only the plain bands get a tag, not the upgraded ones.

We used a TA and just got our magic bands complete with luggage tags. They are hard to find in that box, though!

We received our luggage tags over the weekend after our TA called to inquire about them for us. They are a nice little souvenir.
