Disney Luggage Tags

Hi - I booked a MYW package for this August with the free dining. This week I received some travel documents from Disney, which includes luggage tags. Are these tags only to be used if you are using Magical Express, which we are not (we are renting a car)? The tags are cute and I would love to use them, but I don't want any confusion at the airport if these tags are tied into Magical Express!! Thanks in advance for any replies. Carol

If you were taking the Magical Express...they give you the sticky kind of tags to put on your luggage. The same kind that they put on your luggage at the airport for transferring planes. If they are those, then no don't use them. But if they are different then that, I say go an use them. We recieved some a few years ago before we bought into the DVC and we used them. We still use them today along with DVC one. Hope this answers your question!!!

We got these hologram HCOE ones and used them. They are for if you are onsite I think.

I think the Magical Express tags are yellow. We are supposed to get "suvenior" luggage tags with our package.

The luggage tags you are talking about are just a little fun freebie -- hopefully they are the cute little hologram Cinderella Castle ones? ... plastic. Anyway, they are just to be used like any luggage tag, or hang them somewhere ... or keep gazing at them while moving them slowly to watch the fireworks go off ............... whoops -- I was gazing at my luggage tags.

Magical Express (ME) tags are large sticky wrap around the handle type tags -- much like you would see the airports use to mark your bags. I believe like MouseMa said, they are yellow. Totally unlike a cute luggage tag. You would definately would know they are ME -- and if you didn't get ME, you wouldn't be sent anything like that. Cause as you said, it might confuse the AP!!!

Thanks everyone for your replies. Yes - they are the halogram tags with the castle. I was playing around with them yesterday - going from the plain castle to the decorated Happiest Celebration on Earth castle!! Carol
