Disney Luggage Tag Question

My daughter just received our packet and its contains luggage tags (they are sooo cool.) Anyway, we are not using ME but are using a car service. I am concerned that if we use the luggage tags, our bags might be mistaken for ME passengers and picked up. Is this possible or should we not worry about it and just use the tags. We will be picking up our own luggage as they come off the conveyor and our car service driver will be helping us with them. I really want to use the tags, but I don't want our bags picked up by ME by mistake. Can anyone offer advice.

We use our luggage tags all the time and never use ME. Just don't use the yellow tags with the name of your resort on your luggage, that's how ME knows what bags to pick up.

ME tags are yellow paper with a bar code; they're very different than the ones you've gotten with a package. Don't worry, the ME baggage handlers only grab bags with those yellow paper tags.

I just love having those tags on my luggage when I go somewhere other than Disney.

My mom and I went to Lancaster overnight and the lady at the check-in counter noticed the tag and asked if it was from Disney, because of the castle.

I told her all about my trips and she just gushed about how much fun it must be......
