disney lost and found yard sale

When I was a CM it was not open to the public. I don't know about know though. My friend got a $1000 camera for $75 once!

I don't think it would be open to the public. Can you image, they let the public in. Hey this is mine. I left it here I'm glad you found it. I bet it's only for employess

If you are talking about Property Control/Damage Trailer. It is Cast Member only. It used to be Cast + their guests but that changed about a year ago. Cast + their guests are allowed next door at Cast Connection which is basically an outlet store (and has the same things as the ones at the Premium/Prime Outlets)

yeah i guess I mean the one that's for CM's. Can any CM's give a heads up to what happens to the items not sold? I'm looking for a jeep or Mclaren stroller for vaca.

If you see my DDs cell phone, please let me know!!! :rotfl2:

She left it in the hotel room at the Beach Club but they apparently never found it because I reported it right away.

you'd be amazed at how much actually does get sold. I think they might donate some stuff if it sits too long. It's crazy the stuff they leave. But cell phones are one thing that doesn't get sold.
Strollers, books, cameras, lens caps, video games, backpacks, sunglasses, power cables/usb cables.

That would be a cool place to go. I love bargains....

But, I have a forgetful 11 year old and everything has been returned to me. Why? Because I have become the queen of putting a sticker on things. :)
Cell phone was the biggest one - sticker on the back. They called my cell phone and I gave them my info. Worked wonders...

I would love to go to this for the bargains and I also wished one of the airline ones were closer to me.

Why would you want to spend you vacation at a junk auction? Or give Disney even more money but on used left behind items?

My daughter worked at Dollywood for a few years and I attended their sale one year. Lots of cameras and a few clothes. Don't really remember what else.

My sister used to be a cast member a while back (5-10 years ago) and I remember going backstage to a huge tent in a parking lot somewhere. It wasn't an auction. I still remember that to this day. It was utterly amazing. I bet there were 100 strollers lined up that people had left. Tons of sunglasses, tons of chargers (for cell phones and cameras). Tons of cameras. Just tons and tons of stuff that people had left.

That'd be great to go to. I still am mad that we lost our Pal Mickey years ago on Star Tours. Of course, we immediately turned around to get it and it was somehow not there. I bet someone found it for me;)

We had an autograph book taken from our stroller on our trip before last. It never turned up. There was only one spot left for an autograph and it had DD's name and address in it! I was so mad as it has her first meet n greet with Tinkerbell and her friends. Now I don't leave much behind at all!

FYI, going to sales like these, etc are some of the things Disneystore CMs can usually (but not always) attend........ and it can be fun. Some sales are just for Florida cast members though.

If there are that many things "left" then I have to imagine that Disney lost and found are not doing the the greatest job at trying to reunite travelers with their lost things. How many of us have called lost and found countless times to report a lost fanny pack, camera, sunglasses and been told they were not found or turned in? Evidently a lot of stuff is found and turned in and not returned to the owner. We called for days looking for DDs fanny pack. Bet someone else bought it at auction.

:thumbsup2

We left, unexpectedly in October just 2 days into our trip. In the rush to pack I apparently left my DSs (5 months at the time) light up seahorse thing that played music. My mom had given it to him, it wasn't a huge deal because they're all of $15 but I called and nope, it wasn't there. I know that seahorse never left the Pack-N-Play he slept in and we tore apart all of our suitcases looking for it the first night back. I find it hard to believe it wasn't in our room when they cleaned it, but at least it was something easily replaced with a trip to TRU.
