I'm considering doing the International Program this summer or next summer, and I just wanted to know if I'd have to stop dyeing my hair. I know it says it has to be "natural looking" but I just don't know where they draw the line. I dye my hair red, kind of an Ariel red, so it can look pretty bright, especially in the sunlight. Would I have to tone it down?

You might need to, I would say if it is really bright red that it is not natural looking. If you meet with a recruiter in person they would be able to tell you. Otherwise when you show up, Disney will let you know you need to change it. My roommate had highlights that weren't natural looking or blended very well. Think dark brown hair with bleach blond highlights She had to go buy a box of hair dye and dye it before traditions.

I have a Disney Look question as well and as long as this thread is here I guess I won't start my own.

What are the rules about how girls are aloud to style their hair? Mine is pretty short and I usually spike it up in the back. Would they not approve of that?

from the official dcp site:

Hair should be neatly combed and arranged in a classic, easy-to-maintain style. Extreme styles are not permitted
Hair below shoulder length should be confined if it falls forward over the face while working.
Conservative braided hairstyles without beads or ornamentation are permitted.
Hair products may be used to create a soft, natural hairstyle within these guidelines.
Shaving of the head or any portion of the head or eyebrows is not permitted.
Artificial hair is permitted if it looks natural and meets all of the above requirements.
The Disney Look does not permit extremes in dyeing, bleaching or coloring. If the hair color is changed, it must be natural looking and well-maintained. Subtle highlighting or frosting is permitted, as long as it creates a uniform look over the whole head and meets all of the previously listed guidelines.

I'll take that as a no, then. Also means I'll have to figure out something with my bangs. Thanks for the info
