Disney Look!?

Hey, I'm applying for ICP 2011. Every summer I shave my head into a mohawk for a camp I attend in August. (I'm female). I know that doesn't go with the Disney look. And I plan to grow it out by my interview but how short do they consider too short for girls hair??? Like by my interview(if I get one) it probably won't be that long yet.

I have not worked for Disney, however you can view a two-page PDF on the Disney look here. Regarding hair it says...

Hair – Hair should be kept neat and look natural. If the hair color is changed, it must be natural looking, well maintained, and appropriate to your skin tone. Artificial hair is permitted if it looks natural. Extreme styles are not permitted. Shaving of the head or any portion of the head or eyebrows is not permitted.

I guess it really depends on how long your hair will be by the time of the interview. If it's more of a pixie length (like this http://www.shorthaircutstrends.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/short-pixie-haircut.jpg ), I'm sure that would be fine. But if it's still really short (like this http://a.abcnews.com/images/Entertainment/nm_portman_ssv_.jpg ), you might want to try some sort of faux hair.

Yeh by the time of my interview it would be more pixie. I was just worried because I like keeping it short and had read the Disney look thing several times but often what's in print is different than the standards and what they expect.

I had my hair cut very short right before I went down to my last program. The woman doing my hair screwed it up and it was shorter than I wanted it. A few months later, this is what it looked like:

I never had a problem with my hair. My tattoos were another story, but no one ever said a thing about my hair. I did get a lot of "Excuse me, sir?" though, and I'm not a guy

your hair length won't make a bit of difference for a telephone interview (all interviews are telephone interviews now).

I know the first round of interviews are telephone however my friend is doing the program this year and had a face 2 face interview after the telephone since there's 2 rounds.

Yeh I get a lot of "Excuse me sirs" but I don't really care. I just wanted to make sure short was't a problem lol But thanks so much!
