I've just got back from it and it was fantastic!! The actual magic element to it was superb and the characters amazing! They bought out all Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Daisy as well as the Mad Hatter, Alice, Cinderella, her prince, Jac Jac and Gus, the Fairy Godmother, Belle, Jasmine, Ariel and Eric... I think that's it! It was really really good and despite being the eldest people in there without little kids we really enjoyed it!
Word of warning though, for those of you going to Sunderland there are people standing outside selling light up objects like wands etc, I don't know whether it will be the case tomorrow and sunday but they were selling those items at half price after the show, so if your children desperately want them I'd get them after you come out, unless of course they want to wave them during the show (although there isn't a specific part to wave them).
Hope that helps for all those who were wondering!
Sounds fantastic

I warned my friends about the overpriced merchandise. Yesterday I went to my local Disney store and for £3.99 each I bought two light up spinning sorcerer Mickey's! Perfect for a magic show, I thought. I'll hide from the girls and get them out of the bag when I get there - I have been known to come away £40 poorer from these occasions. We're going to DLRP for a week a month after we go, they'll get enough Disney stuff then! I also bought youngest DD a new Minnie tee from Tesco yesterday and she can wear that on the day
