We have been to Disney with our older kids and are now bringing the little ones (as well as the big ones). We bought the light up toys at the parade but they are really overpriced and I hate the battle if we don't buy. Does anyone know where I could buy light up toys for two little girls that I could bring into Disney? I would prefer to be able to buy them online or at any store not just one by Disney so that I can get them before we even leave for Disney. Thanks

Target sometimes has small ones, and I have also found generic ones at places like Walmart and even Dollar Tree. Also try Party city

HTH

I have found "Glow Stick" Swards and Princess Wands at the dollar store an Target. It's hit or miss, but I have better luck at Dollar Tree.

Disney Store at the malls usually sell them, don't they? I used to live near the one in Tampa and I think I remember them being quite inexpensive. I'd like to get some that are similar to Disney World light up toys.

.. we save a ton of money by getting these before the trip and hiding them in the suitcase! I don't know if you have a Christmas Tree Shops near you ( I think they are only in the northeast) but I have found them there, also Dollar Tree and Kmart, Walmart & Target.

I start looking for them when I book our trip and by the time we are ready to leave I have already purchased Disney light up toys, coloring books, T-Shirts etc. I've seen Disney licensed fruit snacks and candy so I pick those up too.

Its much easier when we drive b/c now when we fly I have to worry about going over the luggage weight restrictions but we have 5 suitcases so I can usually get it all in.

Also if you have a car at WDW all the local Walmarts have a ton of Disney merchandise and it is so much cheaper than inside the parks!

Thanks. I'll start looking. I don't live near a Christmas tree shop but I have been to them. Absolutely love them!

Wow that's a great one. If anyone has bought any of these I would love to hear about them. They look great. Thanks

I'd like to hear any opinions from those that have ordered from premier glow as well.

I was looking at a few products which looked interesting, but the estimated shipping was higher than my order total!

Anyone come across any discounts?

Just bit the bullet and ordered from premier glow-- supposed to be delivered by Friday. I ordered through PayPal just in case. DS buys a spinning toy every trip with his own money, but I think they will be thrilled with the ones I got! Also bought some light up beer mugs for the grownups to use at the villa. Why should the kids have all the fun?:thumbsup2

I am really curious to see if they will hold up to normal kid use. Let us know please!

Me too! Please let me know what size they are too. Which ones did you buy? I was looking at the fairy wand that was out of stock and the mickey mouse spinners.

So I got my order today. The Mickey ball spinner was already broken, I "think" it's a design flaw. Also, the sword stopped working within a few minutes of flashing. I did call customer service, which appeared to be one person on their cell phone. He offered to let me send it back at my cost, and then replace it when he received the broken one. Then he would refund the cost of shipping the broken one back. Hopefully this was a fluke.

I have to say, we bought the spinning Buzz Lightyear's on our first trip with the kids. I believe they were $15. One broke on that trip and they replaced it no questions asked. We have since taken those same lightup toys back to Disney 4 times and they still work great. The kids play with them at home in between too. So they have really been worth the money.$15 for 3 plus years of use is a good value to me.
