Disney light ears

Are they any good? Have u bought them?

The minute I saw them I wanted them - disney currently have 20% off but it finishes tonight and I can get four pair personalised with our names for just over £73 and free delivery!

But now I'm wondering what they r really like and if people are wearing them around the parks?

It seems that sales are not that bad (10000 ears since july) but to be honnest I did not have the impession that a lot of people were wearing them...
During Dreams show, I saw someting like 30 light years (not enough to have a real impact), but maybe a lot of people bought it without knowing the synchro with Dreams....

The cost is ok for me, the technology quite good, but the design is just awful to me... But I remembered a lot of people who were buying these horrible rasta cap in winter, so if they buy this sort of things, why not the light ears?...

I've bought two pairs from the UK Disney Store using the 20% off offer and got them personalised as well. I thought it was a very good offer and I don't think they do personalised ones in the park.

Going to hide them away and give it to DW as a Christmas present.

I must admit I was tempted, that is until I saw them in the parks in June..

Design really is horrible in my opinion, they look cheap and tacky.

Ok - 8 nights worth of Dreams and we saw hardly anyone wearing them for the show! They are on sale everywhere, but it seems people are just wearing them but not actually for Dreams! Wasted marketing opportunity and they are not well advertised for their true purpose and looks more like a gimmick

Bought mine last trip but to be honest even at the 14th July fireworks and Dreams there were probably no more than a dozen guests wearing them. They're quite heavy and you need to do the strap up tight to keep them in place, then the strap undoes, I tied mine in a knot in the end.

Our personalised ones arrived from the Disney Store this morning and the plan to give DW hers for Christmas failed once she saw the box.
