Disney Lifts Fourth of July Military Salute Ticket Blockouts

Disney called me today to announce that they have decided to lift the traditional blockout for their Armed Forces Salute Tickets this coming July Fourth.

The 28 September 2013 through 27 September 2014 Salute offer included blockouts on the Fourth of July at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, and Disneyland’s California Adventure and Disnayland parks.

In keeping with the celebration of the birth of our nation and the military members who protect it all blockouts on 4 July 2014 have been lifted!

Disney was attempting to contact all base ticket offices today and Disney’s official webpage will also have the 4 July blockout dates deleted shortly.

I always found it slightly ironic that the 4th of July was a blackout date for the military ticket
