Disney Lego Castle

We are in the process of building the LEGO castle. I bought a large tv swivel base to make moving and turning the castle around easier during assembly.

Discounted Disney gift cards but that doesn’t beat the visa 10%. I bought mine with Disney rewards so it was 0$

You may want to consider displaying it on the swivel base. I didn't even think of using a TV swivel. I built mine just on a table. But then for display DH made some wooden spinning platform for it to sit on. He then went to JoAnn's and bought green grass style fabric and even covered the base with that. It is way too awesome on the backside to just let it be displayed to not be able to see that stuff.

Now I am so regretting not buying the railroad at $250 as it's close to $700 on Amazon now that it's retired.

We had a blast building ours as a family after our Disney trip, and it was great with 3 teens and mom and dad all talking while building. It will be glued this year, because as a PP said, the top is pain every time we move it and we move it a lot. We love these big sets and have a blast picking out what to build next!! Right now my youngest just got the T-Rex breaking through the fence from Jurassic Park but we are headed to WDW soon and want to build it first, so we may clear a bit of time up and do it this weekend!
The mini castle and mini Haunted Mansion are absolutely adorable and we had to get them the minute we heard about them!!

I was in the store about a week ago looking for the railroad since I was planning on buying it (it’s a bucket list item for me) nope it’s discontinued and on eBay the cheapest set is $600

My husband made fun of me…

…he made fun because he’s had lego sets he’s wanted that became discontinued and then outrageously priced on the second hand market so he’s like poking fun at how he knows how it feels…
