Disney Legend Bob Gurr Is Giving a Tour

I saw that you updated, but I didn't read that update since I don't want to be spoiled. I'll read it after my tour so that I can see the differences.
I look forward to hearing/seeing how your tour goes. It was so good!!!

Any comments from the tour today? The pictures looked GREAT!! I'm trying to wrap up my Trip Report now. Only a few more segments.

Hope you made it back OK. How as the tour and trip in general?

I really liked it, but I didn't looooove it. It was LONG and HOT (over 100 degrees that day). Bob is amazing. I want to be him when I grow up. 85 and mountain biking and RVing across the country. I have the greatest video of him riding the carousel. I just wanted more of him, which sounds weird because he hosted it. I especially felt like the time at the barn was too long. We had almost an hour and a half at the barn, which really could have been half an hour. After about that long everyone was just sitting on benches trying to avoid getting heat stroke. I loved hearing Bob's stories. I would have just sat there for 5 hours and listened to him talk and tell stories.

The rest of my friend's visit was great. We did Disneyland Friday, Saturday, and went down Sunday after the tour. Had a lot of fun and we were pleasantly surprised by the TOT late check out and the Frozen musical.

Bob is an amazing storyteller. I'd love to spend an evening listening to his stories after he gets one or two of is beloved vodka martinis in him to get some really interesting stories out of him.

Heat can definitely put a damper on things, and with Marty Skylar at my event, 90 minutes was barely enough time. I guess if there isn't somebody there doing signings/meet and greets, it could be cut down a bit. I think half an hour would be a bit short though given all there is to take in.

Great times! Glad you guys had a blast.

I would love to do that too! An evening with Bob Gurr I would definitely pay for.

I can imagine that with Marty there it would take up more time! That's such a cool thing, and I would be super duper jealous if I hadn't met him at D23 last year.

It was definitely a fun day though! I don't regret doing it at all!
