Disney Lanyards

Hey yall. I was wondering if anyone knew where to find Disney lanyards. I am wanting to surprise my nieces with lanyards with pins. I already have the pins, but I need lanyards and I really would love to find some before I take them to disney in a month. Any suggestions?

I have found Disney ones at Michael's before for $1...also sometimes the Dollar store also carries them. I would look there before anywhere else...if you have no luck, I would check Walmart as well.

Hi! I have purchased some off ebay before, but some of the ones I have purchases are made of a silky type material, instead of the heavy nylon like the ones I purchased in disney. Also, be careful they do come in child and adult sizes. Not sure which you would want for your nieces. I have also seen them on disneystore online. good luck and have a fun trip!!!

btw, there is great controversy regarding buy the pins online as apparently some are not authentic.

Thanks, I have tried Walmart, and they didn't have them. But I didn't even think about the dollar store or Michaels, but I will definitely look!

I looked at the lanyards on ebay, but I didn't really like any of them. I am really wanting a rapunzel and tinkerbell one, because those are their favorite characters. I also got pins from ebay and I was worried because after I bought them, I found the post on here about the controversy of them not being authentic. But, I just got them yesterday and I looked at them and they all have disney pin trading on the back. From what I can tell, they are real. Not sure how to tell if they are fake. Any suggestions would definitely be greatly appreciated!

You can get them at Party City for $1 as well. I've noticed Mickey, Minnie, Tinkerbell and Cars. I'm sure there are others too

I have found tons of selection for lanyards at Party City, from Toy Story, Cars, Princesses, Fairies, Mickey, Minnie, and more, I think! I ordered some on eBay, but I am not crazy about them, so i may have to grab some at Party City.

I haven't seen any Rapunzel lanyards but there are a few different Tink ones out there. I have seen them at Party City for $1.

As for pins on eBay, did you read the superthread that's linked in my signature? There are a few ways to tell if you have authentic pins or scrappers, just because the back is stamped with the logo doesn't mean they are authentic. Without knowing what you bought and who you bought from I can't be of too much help, feel free to PM is you like.

I'm with the others who said Party City. But if you don't have one near you, I believe I saw some Disney lanyards at K-Mart, with the key chains. (I think they might have had one of those key duplicating machines, and that's where they were.)

Maybe it's just my settings, but the bottom of your signature is cut off, so I couldn't follow the link to the superthread.

I was interested because I just bought a pin off eBay for my niece. (But even if it isn't authentic for trading purposes, I think she'll want to keep it.)

We tried the cheap ones and they didn't hold the pins well at all. I would wait and get them the starter kit at Disney especially if they are younger, those are really cute.

I went to joanns fabrics and bought a yard each of disney pattern "webbing" and a couple of the lanyard clips. Sew the two end together with the clip 9I'm a dad, and i did it....cant be that hard!! haha) and voila!! custom lanyards just for them!!! My girls loved them cause they were unique, and they got tons of compliments to boot!!

Here's some of the ones i saw there. They also had princess and frog, and a pretty blue with cinderella slippers all around.

Thanks - that's an impressive thread. I probably changed my settings at some point to make things big so that they would be easier to read.

I am going to get lanyards from ebay - the seller's name is lewvegas. They look sturdy. the other lanyards that i looked at though are from 1mind1heart1soul, they also looked pretty nice.

I have also been buying pins on ebay, some good, some bad. It am obsessed right now :-/

I have seen some more "sturdy" ones at Home Depot by the keying machine.

There are some for sale online at The Disney Store, but didn't see a Tink one there, and like PP said, don't think you will find a Rapunzel one at all.

You could also contact Disney merchandising to order authentic park ones. They would have many more than you see at The Disney store website. You can call 877-560-6477.
