Disney just called...

Disney reservations called me and the CM (forgot name) said she was the one who helped us with our transfer (we were upgraded from POFQ to YC) and said that she noticed that we had 2 young ones travelling with us. She said how would we like to have a character picture for them. I thought they were trying to sell me on a portrait package and I said that I didn't think our boys would be good for that. She quickly asked who was their favorite Disney character. I said Mickey, and she told me that 2 autographed Mickey portraits would be waiting for our boys when we arrived. I asked what was the catch and she said absolutely nothing. They just wanted to add a magical touch. I was so thankful. This upcoming vacation has just been getting greater and greater as it approaches.

Last November we had autograghed photos left in our room. We stayed at ***, and the first day we went to the parks when we came back there was an autograghed photo of Mickey and Minnie for my granddaughter, and one of Pooh and the Gang for my grandson. My daughter mentioned this to a couple of people when we were at the pool, and no one else had any photos left in their rooms. We had no idea where they came from. I have read a couple of posts about photos left in the rooms, so I guess it is just a random thing.

It's kind of a shame that it has to be random... I was wondering if it was routine or not. We are lucky indeed.

We had a problem with melted chocolate in a stroller that got all over our kids clothes at WDW and when I sent an email after we got home (waaaay too busy to complain at the time) - they gave us some Disney dollars but also asked who our 2 daughters favorite princesses were. One of the dresses that had been stained was Ariel so that daughter received a personalized autographed pic of Ariel and the other liked Snow White at the time and they sent her one as well.

They are hanging on their walls and I think its a great touch/idea for Disney to think of this.
