When is Disneyland Paris going to catch up with WDW/Disneyland California and embrace Disney Junior? I know that you can watch the Playhouse Disney show in Disney Studios but even this it outdated by at least 2 versions compared to the other theme parks.

Would it really take much to introduce the characters mentioned in the title, like some have been in America for a number of years now. So many parents travel to DLP with kids aged 0-5 only and seeing these characters would boost sales and encourage even more to come.

I've been going to DLP every year since it opened and we took my 2 year old daughter there twice last year, so don't get me wrong, I still love everything about DLP. I just wish that they would catch up with the times quicker. My daughter would do anything to see Oso and Handy Manny, and now Sofia and Doc McStuffins. In fact, for her birthday party we hired out Oso and Handy Manny costumes which me and my mates dressed up as for her as its the only way she'll meet them. We can't justify travelling to America yet as she is too young.

Please DLP! Stop wasting time and money on a niche markets like the Ratatouille ride and aim for a bigger audience with more Disney Junior opportunities. I know that kids of a certain age may not appreciate but just think of the number of 0-5 year olds you see in DLP.

Can't agree with you on DLP wasting money on Ratatouille.....the film is based in France and fits perfectly. It will draw in more crowds than changing a show in the Studios, as while there are indeed a lot of young children, the Studios are considered more for older people. The Disneyland Parc is where the magic happens more for wee ones, I know my daughter is more of a Studio girl at 8 than she was at 3.
I think its a case of balance here. In the States Disney Junior seems more popular. I think only Jake and the Neverland Pirates is the only show that I know holds both the girls and boys attention, so I'd personally like that addition.... :-)

But I just mean why can't they have those characters walking around or a character meal. I've been going since 92 as I said and the likes of Friar Tuck from Robin Hood and gepetto etc are still walking around. The recent generations won't appreciate them as much. It just seems to take so long for them to get up to date.

Look at the fantastic films in the 90s such as Beauty and the beast, lion king, little mermaid, etc. yet they've never really embraced those films either.

Disney junior is really popular in the UK too. They have loads of merchandise selling well in the stores.

Isnt disney junior more of a temporary passing thing in your life though, compared with the film anmations which hit the big screens?

disney junior doesnt hit my radar as it didnt exist when my dd was little and by the time i take my niece when she,s 6 i,ll have her completely indoctrinated into the classic movie characters and Princesses:thumbsup2.

i,d still rather see the classic characters around dlp (including friar tuck, he,s very cuddly). robin hood is a great movie.

It costs close to millions in licencing characters DLP have to pay to use the likes of Mickey etc. It may not be as much now WDW company are involved but until last year that wasn't the case.

I personally would prefer them to go with the Ratatoille ride as I think it will be well suited for the park considering where the film is based. As mentioned the Studios has always really been aimed at older people in a bid to attract people to the place therefore families of all ages can enjoy the trip. You only have to look how Toystory land was designed 2 of the rides are aimed at older kids and adults.

I actually just read an interesting blog post that suggested that the older characters are 'better' in some ways, because they make the experience more magical for the adult as they get to almost relive a part of their past, whereas children find the experience magical regardless. So that could be another reason that supports the suggestion that they try to encourage older visitors.
