Disney Junior Breakfast or Lunch at Hollywood and Vine

Is this typically a hard to secure reservation?! Thought I'd take the toddler who is all into Disney Junior there on Wednesday, May 20 and can't get into Hollywood and Vine until dinner time for Star Wars which isn't what I had in mind at all. Is there something else going on by chance?

We will be there this same week and I had to stalk the dining reservations site a little over a month ago to secure a H&V lunch ADR for Thurs 5/21. It seems like it is going to be rather busy that week based on crowd projections. We went this same week in 2013 and crowds were moderate, but Disney seems like it is a lot more busy/crowded overall this past year. Keep stalking the site for openings if you can. I am also sure some cancellations will be made the week of because many people will want to avoid the 24 hour cancellation penalty. Good luck.

I am going in the beginning of May and I had to change the day we were going to HS to get a breakfast reservation. Then about two weeks later a ton of reservations opened up and I booked one for the original day we wanted to go to HS.
