DD wants to go, but the grandmothers are not going to be able to sit on the floor. I don't remember seeing benches in the back or people standing at the sides in the room. Anyone help me?

I am pretty sure that there are benches in the back, or that you could stand up in the back if you preferred to.

There are a few benches at the back- you will need to be towards the beginning of the line to get them. Otherwise a number of adults stand in the back on the other side from the benches. Also sitting in about the middle of the room allows the children to see more of what is happening on stage than towards the front- if you are too close the children miss up to about 3/4 of the puppets and stage show.

We've been twice already, but we're treating the grandmothers to a trip this time and we want to be sure we can include them in most things. Thanks folks!

We go to this a lot. I haven't seen the benches in back fill up, but I also don't go at the busiest times.

If you are concerned, I think this is close enough to a medical accommodation that, if I were you, I'd ask the CM there (there is always one manning the fp entry at the show) if grandma could enter (alone) with fp people to get a seat on a bench. Tell them she just cannot sit on floor but is eager to see the show with dgd. They are very kind there to my special needs DS. I'm sure they can help out a grandma. Of course there could be a dozen grandmas that show who need the bench seating, but it's worth a try. (Or if you have a fp to burn that day/park, choose this show.). The first show of the day is usually less crowded so you might consider going then. HTH.

This grandma finds sitting on the floor miserable! As others have said, there are benches at the back, but I liked seeing my grandson's reaction and don't want him that far back so sitting on the benches doesn't work for me. I just let mom and dad do this one and use the time to shop a little or just people watch.

If you're looking at the stage, there are more benches on the right back corner than the left.... just a in case you have to "run" for it.

Most people don't see them till the floor space starts to fill up.

There are benches in the back. I believe standing in that back may also be an option if the benches fill.

I'm a grandma and have no trouble sitting on the floor.....it's the getting up that gives me trouble.

I haven't been for several yrs, but I think I'll be looking for those benches next time. It's nice to know they are there.

That's my problem too-- so the whole time I'm sitting I'm thinking about how to gracefully get myself upright again. lol

I hated sitting on the floor! It was so uncomfortable, my back was killing me and I couldn't move. It is such a cute show I can't understand why they can't set up seating? So odd to file in and just plunk down on the floor. Everyone was looking at each other like, "Ooookkkkkaaaayyyyy?"

I was very uncomfortable (I'm not a grandma) on the floor. I wish I'd seen the benches! I just followed the herd and sat on the floor. It was very squished, if I moved at all I was hitting someone.

Actually, last time we went, we ended up leaving early and I think mostly because we were uncomfortable.

We got our FP! yesterday & used one of them for this, so we shouldn't have a problem getting a bench for Grammy & Mamaw! We'll get them situated & then find a seat for ourselves. We've been near the back or near the front for the show before, so I don't think it really matters to us where we sit. DD is 10 and still says she can't wait to see this show!

Is there specific seating for FP!? I assume people just rush in & try to get near the front & center...; just curious!

How is the view for kids on the benches. I'm thinking I might have a grandparent take my youngest one to the show so the rest of us can do Star Tours. My daughter would have to sit with the grandparent in the back benches.
