I'm planning on making a journal for our 1st trip to WDW. So far I am planning on dividing the book into sections for each day. I am going to include a page for myself to write about the memories from each day and also one for each of my kids so that I can remember what their favorite things were. I was also going to include an envelope for daily receipts and a photo sleeve for each day so I can add some pictures later.

What am I missing? What other information or additional pages would you include?? This is our first trip so I am hoping that you experienced disers can help me with this one. If anyone has pictures of their Disney Journal, I would love to see what has worked for you. Thanks for your help!

Be sure and write down the opening/closing times of the parks each day, if you have an ADR, write down the time and number. Note your parking space if necessary!! Must-see or must-do attractions, shops (special discounts?), parades, fireworks, etc. Bus numbers, etc. It's a great place to jot down names of characters, rides, places, etc. as you take photos. If your kids want to send Mission Space emails, write down friends' email addresses in there. Jot down names of wait staff if they were memorable or your kids really "hit it off" with them. Notes about what you SHOULD have done - different order, different time of day, etc. Weather/temperature.

You'll think of lots more!!!!!

I love the journal pages on TheMouseForLess.com. I used them for our upcoming trip and the last one. I added personalized puzzles made from puzzlemaker.discoveryeducation.com and disneyzone.net. I also added some coloring pages! I took the journals to a print shop and they put a plastic cover on them and bound them with a plastic coil. I love how they turned out! They are simple and get the main things you want to remember down on paper without taking up too much of your day. It was really fun re-reading my journal for 2003. All the kids are keeping one this trip and I personalized each one with coloring pages to each ones character likings. Even the teenagers in our group are excited about keeping a journal this trip.

Hope this gives you some ideas!:flower3:

I like your idea of keeping everything together. I have a travel binder and the journals are seperate. Maybe next time I will combine mine!
