Disney-ish Wedding Ideas

Hello Dis! I have been a long time listener to the podcast and occasional reader of the boards. I recently got engaged this month and am turning to all of you for some Disney ideas. The FH quickly vetoed the idea of a Disney wedding or Disney honeymoon. He is not as big of a fan of the mouse as yours truly. I want to incorporate aspects of Disney into my wedding, but in a understated way. I was thinking of hidden mickeys in the cake and bouquet, maybe some Disney themed music. What else can you suggest for small Disney details for a non-Disney wedding? (pictures of examples are encouraged).

there are so many ways to go here - it sounds like you are just in the earliest of planning stages, but what kind of theme are you thinking? colors? location? you’d be able to add something to any wedding - what’s your inclination?

Congratulations! this is such an exciting time!

i love the understated idea of hidden mickeys... why not do table cards using Disney themed attractions/parks? my daughter is thinking for the bouquets putting a small silver mickey ears/face in the bow. (which could be used as a charm for a necklace or bracelet)...

Sambycat - the planning is still in the early stages in terms of all the details. But since I can't have the wedding at Disney, I'm hoping to incorporate some Disney without being too obvious since the FH isn't as big of a fan. So no Mickey/Minnie cake topper, but maybe using a Walt Disney type font for name cards, etc.
