Earlier today I finally concluded that no matter what I do I won't be able to afford a trip this year....

I come home to find a postcard with a code for $59 for a value, 8/3 through 9/27! Those mean mean people

THEN, I had to stop at the DIsney Store, and found a ton of stuff "in case we go" to pack away!

Well...you're going to really feel that way if you call and find out your dates aren't available. Seriously, there is very limited availability so call as soon as you can. Good Luck!

Watch how mean they are when you call and check on availability. I tried and tried to get my daugther a room at Pop for August 15-16 since we are staying there on an earlier bounceback and nothing is available. She could stay at the A/S Sports, so unfortunately for me, she'll stay in our room for those 2 nights at Pop.

Nope....no availability as of last night. Now I can't get their reservation system to check again for me. Right now, I have a king room booked at the CBR.

Hey, anybody out there willing to plug in some information in on the Disney website for me? I don't know if it is my computer or their site.

I want a standard room at the CBR for 8/9/08 through 8/16/08. Two adults....room only.

I read recently that there is a special cast discount at CBR which is higher than the normal CM discount. I assumed they were having trouble booking CBR because of the pool refurb going on. Maybe that is why you can't get in. Did you try dropping the first day to see which day might be causing you problems, or it may be the room catagory.

I only checked the discounted rate, I am not sure about the full rate. They may have availabilty for that..

I'm on hold again (4th time this morning). They do show a standard room availability now (amazing) but his computer is giving him problems. He is going to a supervisor. Will post in a bit.

By the way, if anybody is interested, the Saratoga Springs is available. The total during our dates was $1,410.00.

If you are willing to book thru Expedia...they are showing availability for a king room for $109/nt -- I wasn't sure if you wanted a standard room because of the price, or the two beds. They also have some kind of promo running where you get a $50 gas card as well.
