Does anyone know the company that DFTW uses or recommends for invitations or wedding paper products? They are displayed in the cabinet at Francks! Thanks!

Jessica

ANyone know the price on some of them? And do they do anything else other than the Disney on the site as far as custom?

Thats a good question! I was just looking at their website and didn't see anything about pricing!

Jess

The custom Disney invites are VERY, VERY pricey. I don't have the exact numbers anymore, but for 50 custom invites (and reception cards, reply cards, etc.) our quote was well over $1,000. We ended up going with non-custom Disney invites from Shelley and the grand total was just about $500...we went with Marriage Message from Mickey for the invites (we got pixie dust reception cards though--we didn't care for the Marriage Message from Mickey ones)--they are perfect for a classy Disney wedding IMO :) :) For specifics, just call or email Shelley and she will tell you exactly how much everything costs.

Then I would look into the sassydesign.com if anyone is interested. 1000 bucks for 50 invites is INSANE or was that a typo and it was 1000 for 500 invitations?

1,000$ for 50? WOW! They are beautiful though, but im sure there are great ones that aren't custom or that expensive! Snow_White, the invites you used are very very nice! Thanks for the information!

We also used the same as Snow_White, with custom reception cards too. I don't know why the reception cards with that set don't really match.

Anyway, Shelley is amazing, and I really enjoyed working with her. I highly recommend!!!

I concurr with Snow_White on the custom invites too. Same type of quote for us. You have to keep in mind that there is a Disney licensing fee you have to pay because she is officially licensed by Disney to do custom Disney stuff. We did *almost* do it, too, because we loved them so much.

I am using Sassy designs. And poor Jen has been putting up with my great! I am trying to find the "perfect" look, and I am getting closer, but not there yet. Her positive attitude has really helped, and she is making it custom for me at no where near the $1000 price. Keep in mind that these are printed not embossed. There is an extra fee for the embossing (or raised portions) I am going to look into that, but not sure if I will do it or not.

I will also be using sassy designs, she is working on my save the dates at the moment. I dont think i could justify $1000 on invitations!

LOL, not a typo. The invites are totally custom, plus you have to pay Disney licensing fees as Cryssi mentioned. It definitely adds up!! Having said that, I was just as happy with our $500 non-custom Disney invitations and would highly recommend them :) :) We ordered everything possible (invitations, lined inner envelopes, addressed outer envelopes, reception cards, reply cards, addressed reply card envelopes, and "mr and mrs" cards), so I actually thought $500 wasn't totally unreasonable considering just how much stuff we ordered!

JonetteA, can sassy designs make just about any invitation design if you can tell her what you are thinking of? We are having sort of a fantasia/sorcerer mickey theme, and I was looking for something that tie in with that! That is why I liked the custom creations from impressions, but anywhere near 1000 dollars for only 50 invitations is way out of my budget! :) Thanks!!
