Well firstly Disney would never admit defeat on Paris - it would be seen to be a failure for the whole Disney brand.

Secondly, what do you suggest for the transport problem of people not being able to afford flights to Florida? As much as I'd love Disney to build a high speed monorail from Paris to the WDW TTC, it ain't ever gonna happen.

Actually in the breakdown of how this will be spent MyMagic+ is one of the strings attached with Disney helping them. It's said to be a similar version of it but not exactly thre same. A massive renovation of the main park will be first in things to be done.
