Hi, I have been reading may of the threads on here and it has got me thinking about a Disney wedding. It has always been my dream to get married in Disney but I always thought it would be too expensive, so DF and I were looking at getting married in Slovenia. I have since had a look at the Disney wedding website and realised that the ceremony would cost about the same.
So my question to you is how do I go about it?
I live in the UK and was wondering whether there was an email address that I could use to get more info?
I really don't know where to start so any help would be appreciated. :goodvibes

HI I am from the UK also I booked through a travel agent but its just as good if not better to book through Disney. I think you would just call the number on the web site and go from there.

Good luck

Hi, i am also from the UK, I booked my wedding with First Choice, you can also do it through Virgin but I recommend you do it through Disney direct. The only reason I say to go direct with Disney as the travel agents are used as the 'middle person' and if i am honest; they know bugger all about weddings in Disney! Why don’t you pop into First Choice and pick up a copy of 'First Choice Weddings' have a browse through, check prices, what’s included then go from there.
It’s easier than you think, have a browse around through this site, i am sure a lot of your questions would of been answered.
I am having a Premium Intimate Wedding at Disney’s Wedding Pavilion, it cost £1,569 and accomadates up to 18 guests; it includes:

A fresh floral bouquet for the bride and a fresh flower boutonniere for the groom.

An elegant two tiered wedding cake with keepsake cake topper and one bottle of Fairy Tale Cuvee for your champagne toast

An organist for your ceremony and a violist for the reception.

A four (4) consecutive hour limousine charter for transportation on your wedding day for you and your guests.

A professional Disney Photographer to capture your ceremony and reception.
Up to two (2) hours of photography coverage this includes an album of twenty (20) images chosen by you. Along with the album Disney will also provide you with a contact sheet of all the images taken during your event.

Includes an Intimate Wedding Coordinator to help plan and execute your wedding.

A personalized wedding website.

A Disney Fairy Tale Weddings Wedding Certificate.

Think that’s it.

Have a look at www.disneyweddings.com or www.firstchoice.co.uk/weddings

PM me if you have any more questions

Hi,

I too am from the UK. I've booked my May 07 Wedding through Virgin, the cost for the Wedding Pavillion for 07 is £2215 (its took a bit of a price jump to the current price).

Please feel free to ask further question as we are always here to help :thumbsup2

Hi
I am from Oldham in Lancashire!
I just had my Disney wedding at the Yacht Club Gazebo on 1st March. It was fabulous.
Beleive me it felt just magical to be having my wedding at Disney World rather than at home. My guests all said they would never go to another wedding as nice as mine, and i have to agree.
I booked directly with Disney through ther weddings web site. Most of it I did by email. It's no easier than organising a wedding here, but the end result is superb!
First step, is to phone them and get your ball rolling.
Have fun, read this board regularly as there are lots of great advice on here, and some wonderful people.

Spooky I am from Bolton too!! :thumbsup2

I am trying to start planning our wedding which will be in June 07 at Sunset Pointe - I think though I really worry about rain - does anyone know where the alternative venues may be?

Exciting stuff! I am going through a home based travel agent who has been fantastic and everyone who uses her recommends her. She recommends you do most of the arranging with disney yourself though she gets the ball rolling and checks process etc whilst arranging your flights, accomodation etc

Love Abi x

Hi, we got marreid at WDW last September and booked it through Virgin Weddings. You will find the info through the Virgin Holidays website, or just Google it.

Just remember that if you book through Virgin or any other High Street name, they are merely agents and as soon as you can establish direct communications with your Event Manager, you should. They will then deal with everything.

Any queries, please feel free to drop me a line, or call me on my new SKYPE (SKYOE name russftp)!

You could always have a word with my friend Vicky, who was our Bridesmaid because she is an independant travel agent.

She also got married abroad through Virgin, so has become quite an expert.

Regards,
Russ.

I know its quite strange isn't it. It's such a small world- I thought Iwould be the only one from this part of the world!!

Well, I called Disney Weddings last week and they are sending me some information. We are looking at the wedding gazebo at the Yact club. I will book it direct as I'm a corporate travel agent so I can look at flights etc myself.
We had some bad news this weekend though, my DF Dad said that he wouldn't be able to come all the way to Orlando. We would both really like our wedding there but would also like him to come. He said that we could go without him and I'm sure DF Mum will still come but I would feel bad leaving him behind. Really don't know what to do now :confused3
