Disney International Exchange Program - Tattoo Cover-Up?

Firstly, I'm not sure if this is the best place for this question - so if not please feel free to direct me elsewhere.

I am hoping to apply to the Disney International Exchange Program next year. Problem is that I have a tattoo at the base of the back of my neck, which doesn't look like it would be completely covered by the UK pavilion uniform. I have heard that other people have been accepted onto the programme after admitting to having visible tattoos, so long as they are able to somehow cover their tattoos while working and/or in uniform. Is this true?

If so, can anybody recommend a good tattoo cover-up or concealer?
Is it better to get something specifically designed to cover tattoos, or is stage make up better?
It will need to be smudge and waterproof so as not to rub off when rubbing against clothing, or when sweating in the FL heat!
Due to the awkward position it will also need to be easy to apply. And as I will need to apply it every morning it would be best to be quick to apply effectively, without needing to apply many layers - let's face it, I'm not at my best in the morning!

The tattoo is about 2-3 inches large and is all solid black ink, so I'm worried it will be tough to cover.

This is something I need to make sure that I can do before I can consider even applying.

Thanks!

Have you called them to make sure that it is or isn't an issue as opposed to just hearing about it? I would do that in the first instance as you never know it might not be an issue. Also would you def be working in the UK Pavillion at Epcot? Some of the other uniforms might hide it. I wouldn't let it stop you from applying for it though, they might even have suggestions as to the best way to cover it if required, there must be a lot of people that have tattoo's working for them. Good luck:)

Are you thinking of applying for the year long program which is called the Cultural Representative program where you do work in the UK pavilion at Epcot or are you thinking of applying for the Cultural Exchange program which is a summer program and you could be working anywhere on property??

I'm doing the cultural exchange program and going out next month. I personally don't have a tattoo but I know in the application process they asked multiple times about tattoos and for people who had tattoos on their wrists then they would have to wear long sleeved tops all of the time and from what I remember the recruiters said they were not allowed to apply for Quick service food and beverage.

I agree with the above poster, apply for it and be honest with them and they will note it down so that if you are successful they can put you somewhere where the costume will cover your tattoo.

I don't know if that helps or not!? Good luck for when you apply!!

Thanks guys!
And congrats on the summer program Disneymad1993, that's so exciting!!

It's the Cultural Representative Program that I would be applying for as I am not a student, so don't qualify for the summer program. So I would defiantly be in the UK in Epcot.
I'm surprised that they are so allowing with wrist tattoos! So I'm quite hopeful my neck won't be as big of a deal as I am worried about.
I used to work with a girl who had been on the CR program. She had visible tattoos on her foot, but she didn't mention them in the interview process, and just wore an "ankle support" to work every day to hide them. The thought of lying is a bit much for me though, I'd be too worried about being found out and kicked off the program!

I haven't rang them because I wasn't sure where to phone or if it was an appropriate question, but I have just found the email address for the Recruitment Dept for the International Program so I will send them an email and ask first hand!

Once I get an answer, I'll post it here in case anyone else on the boards has a similar concern.
