My wife is way into the Disney infinity game. I know some of the figures for the game are store specific (like best buy). I was wondering if Disney World had any exclusives as well.

No Disney World exclusives. Your magic band will work for an in game park exclusive though. You just put it on the reader like you would any other power disk and it gives you something. In Version 1.0 it was the Fantasyland Dragon i am not sure what Version 2.0 and 3.0 are.

I'm a big Infinity geek. :) There aren't any park-specific characters. You can put your MagicBand on the base and get a dragon in Infinity 1.0. There hasn't been anything else like that (at least not that I'm aware of.)

Just checked my D23 notes because they announced it there. 2.0 was the It's A Small World Facade and 3.0 is the Partners Statue.

Also if you have a kids club band from the cruise it also unlocks some cruise exclusives. I don't have that band sadly so no clue what exactly it unlocks.

Oooooh - I had no idea! Looks like I will be wasting my night playing video games. :)

I need to find someone on my next cruise willing to let me buy their kids club band! You can't buy those just in the gift shop or anything so I have no way to unlock the DCL toys right now.

ok i have a infinity question, I'm getting an xbox one for christmas and wanting to get disney infinity 3.0 because of some figures being released in 2016 and i want them to work obviously, however is there any way for me to bypass the 3.0 starter star wars set and just get the base and the game?
or could i get 2.0 starter set then somehow upgrade the game to 3.0? star wars is not much a selling point for me at all
i know it requires the base where you place the figures but is there a way i can go just buy individual figures a base and the game even if it costs more?

With Disney Infinity 1.0 to 2.0 to 3.0 arent necessarily "upgrades" The game has improvements and new features with each version but think of it more like a series. You get the software for 1.0 and you get the full features of all the characters that are 1.0. You get the software for 2.0 and you get the full features for the 2.0 characters and limited features for 1.0. Same with 3.0, full features for 3.0, limited for 1.0 and 2.0. All three versions use the same base. So what you can do is buy any starter set with any version of the software and then buy the software either used, as a digital download, or just buy the disk for the other versions. You can then use the software for whatever version the characters you want to use are. I have a Wii U and the Nintendo eShop offered the 1.0 software for free when you registered your 3.0 version. Im sure Microsoft has some type of thing like this too. I also purchased the 2.0 software via the eShop for half the price on the 2.0 starter kit at Sams Club. Hope this helps!

We're Disney Infinity newbies. Do I have this correct:

If they get get Disney 3.0, they can use all the figures and unlock all the toyboxes retroactively (from 1.0 and 2.0 and 3.0).

If they get 2.0 they can use the figures and unlock the toyboxes from 1.0 and 2.0. but not 3.0. Is that correct? Anyone has a link or something that would explain this?

Hello,

I see this thread is older but thought I would ask anyway. Does anyone have a disneyland toybox card they would be willing to trade for a Disney Hollywood Studios one?
