Disney Infinity on Amazon

The Infinity Starter Pack is 20% off for some systems today. The only ones on sale are for the Xbox 360, and the Nintendo 3DS.
It doesn't help me as I am looking for Infinity for the PS3, but I thought I would mention it in case anyone else is picking it up for Christmas.

Just an FYI - Disney Infinity for the Wii (not Wii U) does not allow multiplayer except in the Toybox area. So the portion of the game that you solve missions, etc is only for 1 player. This is not the case for the other platforms - they allow multiplayer. We learned this the hard way, after purchasing the game.

Also wanted to add that if you want to play 2 player mode and not in the toybox you need to have 2 characters from that series..example: Mr and Mrs Incredible.

Oh thanks for posting that. I have no idea about this game, I did pick it up for ds and I was only planning on getting him a few figures. I only got him the starter set, the villians 3pk and Mike W.
Can you use a good guy and a bad guy in the same series when you play 2 player?

I saw the starter packs on sale at Target yesterday, I think for $15 off?

Though, with the 59.99 amazon deal that makes the savings better by buying the two separately from Amazon (~3$). Figured I would throw it out there anyway though

Great, thanks! I'm sure as more are released he'll want more but so far he has only asked for Mike. I went crazy with Skylander figures and half of them were never used so I don't want to do that again.

Sully comes with the starter pack so he'll be able to play two player in Toy Story adventures.
