DH and I went on the hunt for the Disney Infinity characters today, and here are some of the deals we found!

Character 3 packs (Villians and Sidekicks)- $14.96 (50% off) at Walmart online and in store (at least in store in Louisiana). This is an AMAZING deal since single characters are about $13 each!

Cars and The Lone Ranger Play Packs- $17.49 (50% off) at Target

Buy one get one 50% off at Toys R Us

If you are familiar with Skylanders, it is similar to that. My family played it for most of the afternoon today, and LOVE it! Instead of levels, there are lands to play and there are certain characters for each land. Such as Sulley, Mike, and Randall for the Monster's University land.

My kids have been playing this game all afternoon. They love it! It is great to hear them laughing their heads off! It is very cute and interactive. I like how you can create your own adventures in the game.

We bought it today. My husband and I are the only ones who have gotten to play so far. The kids will probably play it most of tomorrow. We really enjoyed it. Haven't gotten to explore as much as I'd like but it was really fun.

Did you price check them? Our store didn't have them marked on sale, but we price checked them before we bought them. It wasn't advertised, so it may have been a glitch in the stores system yesterday, but they did ring up at $14.96 in 2 different stores... Who knows! At least you were able to get them online!

We bought our 3 packs at Target which price matched the Walmart deal, which was great since Walmart did not get much inventory. The kids love it!!!

I was meant to read this post today! it is my son's birthday on Monday and he wants this game. I just ordered a bunch of stuff from all websites and saved a bundle...or spent a bundle whichever way you want to look at it!

I haven't decided yet whether or not to get the XBox version or Wii ( original). She's used to the Wii but I read a negative review on some site about the graphics on the Wii not being as good.....which version has everyone gotten?

What do the power disc do in the game? Saw them nonlinear. What are all the characters that are out?

We got the Xbox version. It's not the most sophisticated game, but it's really a video game version of what you did as a kid. The cars section is just like Hot Wheels, everything can be crashed through or made into a jump. It's really a fun game for younger kids.

My DD finds Skylandrs gets difficult in later levels. We haven't played Infinity much, but we haven't ran into anything like that yet.

Of course, the wifely part of our clan deal shopped these same prices and ended bringing EVERYTHING home today.

We have an original Wii and the disc will not load, seems to be a common problem with the wii. Also can only do one player on wii unless in toy box, so we are buying an Xbox and exchanging the wii starter kit for an xbox starter kit. Reviews on amazon are much better for Xbox. We weren't planning on getting an xbox before this, but I have always secretly wanted one.

Power discs do one of three things. Either 1. Power up your character 2. Give you a oy for your toybox, like Stitch's Blaster or Cinderella's carriage or 3. Give you decorations for your toybox, so you can make the sky look like the arcade screen from Fixit Felix or put coral from Finding Nemo in place of trees.

For characters, only a handful are out right now, but more are coming October.
Right now it's 5 characters from Incredibles, 3 Pirates of the Carribean, 4 CARS, 3 Monsters University and Lone Ranger and Tonto.

Got the Xbox set at Shopko for $74.99 plus a free single character *DD chose Violet* I ordered the Mike, Mrs I and Barbossa set from Walmart, my three nearest Targets are out of their discounted sets, hopefully more arrive on the midweek trucks.

Thank you- I ordered the Villains on Walmart.com for $14.96! I am excited.

I scored the Sidekicks on Amazon earlier for $14.96 and the Cars set for $19.96. It'll take them awhile to ship but that is OK.

Now I need Lone Ranger and Tonto. Walmart.com is out of stock. Not sure if I want to run out and see if our store has it in stock or not.

Awesome! Was able to purchase the Villians from Walmart.com, could've sworn they were unavailable just a bit ago.

Check out the game reviews on amazon, the Wii version stinks for two player, Xbox reviews are much better.

bought the lone ranger and villians set at TRU with the b1g1 half off but looks like the walmart/amazon deal is better. Ordered both sets this morning from Amazon. Will take a few weeks to ship but since this is for Christmas no big deal. now to take back the ones to TRU.
