Disney in Texas

There have been rumors for years that Disney was going to build north of Houston, but as someone else posted, that land is going to be used for a dinosaur theme park opening in few years.

That being said, Texas would be the only place that would make sense for Disney to build in. Though I doubt north of Dallas would be the right spot, just because of tornadoes and snow.

I have been a part of this board for a short time, and I have seen Texas bashing on more than one occasion. It is sad that people believe dated stereotypes about Texas still to this day. But not all of us support George Bush, (Even though his parents live down the street from us) have guns, live in the country and go hunting. Some of us are democratic, vegetarian, animal rights activists. :hippie:

Someone affiliated with Disney is assiting with a Dino Land Park in East Montgomery County - that's North West of Houston.

Thank you for sharing this. When I lived in the Woodlands and Conroe, I often heard about the "mysterious" theme park that was supposed to be built to the east of us. Nobody ever seemed to know any details. There were rumors Disney was involved, but I could never find proof.

My family who are still there will be thrilled to know more details at last. It is supposed to come together with the expansion of some roads and highways, that are supposed to increase certain property values there.

Blessings to you!
