disney in October

We are going back to disneyworld Oct 24-Nov1. What is the weather like down there then? Jeans/shorts??? THank you for your help!

Better bring both. It can be beautiful or it can be rainy and quite cool. It's a great time to visit.

Been in October for about 10 years in a row. I would have to say shorts and capris, I have never brought nor needed jeans. A jacket or sweatshirt might be handy for the late nights. The only time I've ever needed pants and has been in Jan/Feb, and only brought capris and sweatpant-capris and was OK. I was only cold when I got out of the hot-tub in the evenings.

We went mid-October last year and loved it. I wish we could go again this year but decided to wait until Christmas to do an AP surprise for the kids and then we'll have a WHOLE year of disney!

I think my kids swam alot so it must have stayed pretty warm.

I would bring both--expect warm weather during the day, evening could be warm or cool, it's hard to know.

About mid November through about mid February can be COLD-COLD-COLD when the sun goes down (OK, I'm a Floridian, so maybe I don't know COLD )--I'm talking in the 30s-40s and windy--jackets, hats/hoods, and gloves are needed if one intends to walk around after dark.

My DD and I are going from 10/20-27. I can't wait!! I have been watching the weather down there this week and I am happy not to be going in that heat. I couldn't stand walking around DSisney all day in the blazing sun. I am happy to hear that October has pleasant weather.

We went last year at the end of October and the weather was great. Shorts all the time. A few evenings you needed a sweatshirt.

I've been at the end of Oct. twice & the weather was about as close to perfect as you could get! My favorite time of the year to go.
I brought one pair of jeans in case, but never needed them. I think I used a sweatshirt at night a couple times, but I get cold very easily.
Will pack a pair of jeans & a sweatshirt this coming Oct. in case, but mostly just shorts & tees/tanks.

We went mid-October and had fanastic weather. We wore shorts every day. Have fun!
