I was planning on surprising the family with a christmas trip this year but was just informed that the company I work for will be involved in a trade show in November and I will be working the show. So I figured why not have the family come down with me. My question is I will be there the second week of November. Will there be any xmas decorations up? What should the crowd level be like? how is the weather then? Thanks

We love that time of year at WDW.

The weather is great. Warm in the days, cool but still warm enough (light jacket weather) at night. It does not usually rain.

Crowds are reasonably, if not very, light.

The resort decorations are just getting underway then, not too much to see, but MK is fairly decked out because of MVMCP starting on the 10th.

I'll be there that week too! Weather be what it may it is WDW and I'll have a great time!

Sounds awesome! Weather will be wonderful (most likely), and crowds won't get bad until Thanksgiving week. If you can go down a little bit earlier, you can catch the end of the food and wine festival in Epcot (ends Nov 8th).

We were there then last year. The Christmas decorations were up almost everywhere, but the Osborne Lights were not. A great time to visit...

Last year the MK was all decked out in time for the first MVMCP on 11/10. The only thing missing there was the big tree, which didn't go up until 12/7, after the Christmas parade taping. All other resort/park decorations went up at varying rates throughout November, with everything being in place for the big holiday kickoff the day after Thanksgiving - when Osborne lights, Candlelight Processional, etc., officially started.

I understand that "Jersey Week" will be the first week of November. We are going to be there the 6th to the 14th. :cool1:

I keep seeing different opinions on Jersey week, some say they don't even notice and others make it sound as crowded as summer. We are going Nov 1 - 7 which is Jersey week, really is it that bad? I know their schools are out at the end of that week but I live in Illinois and our district is out too but I don't hear anyone talking about going to Disney. We are going regardless and will have an awesome time but just wondering about crowds. Thanks
