Disney in Nov. or Dec?

Hi. We are trying to decide when to go to Disney - first trip as a family - two kids, 6 and 2. We are debating between Nov. 13 - 18 or Dec. 3or4 - 8or9. We basically are planning to go for five nights and my priority is small crowds and no lines. When is best? Thanks for the help.

We went the week after Thanksgiving and it wasn't bad at all. I know that Pop Warner has the cheerleading competition typically around that time of year (maybe the first week of December) and that brings in more people (obviously!) but i wouldn't think the middle week of November would be too bad (sorry can't say for sure since i haven't been there at that time). You may want to do some research or maybe another DISer can post when Pop Warner will be there and that may help you decide.

Hello!! My first time to WDW 2 years ago we went in Nov. and it wasnt bad! Now we are going again this NOV!!!

I think the time you want to go in Nov. is the same time the ABC Soap Stars come to the Hollywood studios. Not too sure ..

We always go the week after Thanksgiving. Hardly any lines at all & the Christmas decorations are all up. LOVE IT! You might also want to check out Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party!
