Disney in Mid August

Is the summer crowds still fill the park in Mid August?

I went in the middle of August once and it was pretty crowded.

Is there any days that are less crowded than others in August or does it matter that much?

we're going on the 19th thru the 26th and a lot of schools will be back in session I hope the park will be markedly less crowded.

schools up here start earlier this year Aug 17th, used to be a week later.
So we are heading down on the 11th last week to have fun, for us. I expect it to be crowded, just pretty much based on hotel prices. Eek!

Can you go at the very end of the month? Crowds will be much lighter, and hopefully the weather will be a little nicer

We're going the 19th-23rd. I also hope that crowds will be smaller. Hopefully some schools will be back in session and other people will be home getting ready and crowds will be light. And a cool front will move in and the weather will be high 70's.

We were there last year for a week in the middle of August and it didn't seem to be much more crowded than when we went in June the year before.
