Hi everyone! We go every year the first week or second week of September. We usually love it because we’re big Halloween people and enjoy MNSSHP. It’s been 15 years since we’ve gone in June & I don’t remember how it went to be honest! Haha. This year we’re thinking of doing the last day of May-first week of June to take advantage of the dining plan promo. I know it’s hotter than the devils backside, but how is it compared to September’s heat and humidity? I know crowd’s are bigger during this time so I’m expecting longer waits, etc. We just went in September and knocked out our annual must rides, so I feel like it won’t turn us off too much. Anyone go end of may or early June that can give some insight? Thanks!

I like end of May/early June! Lots of kids still in school so crowds aren’t awful. Not rainy like September. And honestly the temps aren’t too different than September.
Thank you so much! I started to worry that it would be hotter or that the humidity would be worse! lol. Nothing more fun than a teenager complaining about the heat every 39 minutes! 😂 If he can handle September for the most part then hopefully we should be good! 🤞🏼

I would rather go in may- in September you have the risk of terrible rainstorms! Also IMO it's the same heat as first week of jone. I live in SC and September seems to be the hottest and wettest month.

We use to be go every September kind of family. We always planned it the full week after the week with Labor Day for what ever reason and we loved it. About 3 or 4 years ago we switched it up to early May (I know you said late May/early June so not sure how much a difference a few weeks makes) to try out the Flower and Garden festival and that is now our plan going forward. Heat wise I think they are pretty similar, if not worse in September because of the humidity. I still remember our last trip we went in September we took out our ponchos and used them every day that trip. We ended up throwing them out at the end of the trip cause they were a few years old and getting a little nasty and said when we go back again we will buy new ones when it starts to rain. The following May we went and it didn't rain any of the days, so that was a big plus for us going in May. I'm guessing crowds won't be too bad either as the previous poster mentioned, lots of schools around the country are still in. Maybe not as good as September crowds, but I'm optimistic it will work out. Enjoy your trip!

I would do May/ June unless late September.. early September gets a lot of rain still

We've done both early June and late September. We had a great time during both seasons, though it was pretty hot in June. Our only big issue in September is the risk of rainy weather and hurricanes - we had to cut a trip short a few years back because of Hurricane Ian.
