Hello everyone. I'm new to this board, but I've been to Disney 8 times..9 next year :). my question is We are 4 young adults. and have two options; Disney in March or Disney in September. Right now March seems like its going to work best for us BUT which would you say is better? We are 23 years old and its hard to get us all the same week of vacation. the two weeks we have right now would be March 7th to the 14th or September 5th to the 13th. I've always been to Disney the last weeks of august first weeks of September since i can remember. so i have no idea what the parks are like any other time. HELP what should we do??? which time of year do u like best and what are the pros and cons of each? any help is appreciated!

Thanks a head of time!!!
Keri

I would go with the March dates because the weather will be a bit cooler then. Early September it's going to be 90 degrees or more. But mid March you're probably looking at the low 80's.

As the pp said, weather-wise March is better. But if you are looking for one of the quietest times of the year, then that would be early Sept. Kids are back in school and reports from this past early Sept. said parks were really quiet and wait times were low to non-existent.

Personally I'd pick Sept. as March is the start of Spring Breaks.

Enjoy!!! :goodvibes

Haven't been in September, but we were there in March '08 when my sons band marched in the MK parade. This was the last week of March, the weather was very nice, hadn't gotten too hot yet. But the parks were very crowded with spring break folks up until our last day (Saturday the 29th). Seems that most folks must have headed home that day, the MK was much less crowded.

So, as others have said, go in March for the weather, September for less people.

We're going the second week of October this year, hopefully it will be cooling off then.

Hello Everyone. Thanks for your fast replys.:goodvibes Its are hard choice. i LOVE disney in September with all of the halloween decortaion and lack of lines, but it is hot and ive NEVER been there any other time of year. I think we are going to Try March. Lines in Disney are better then Lines at the bank or sitting in traffic. If we dont like it we can always go back to booking september. THANK YOU for all of the input! :thumbsup2. im sure i will ask more questions before we leave!!!!!

I went in March of this year (2/28-3/7). It wasn't busy at all. I barely had to wait for any of the rides. I stayed on property at the POR and it wasn't overcrowded. It was colder than I thought it would be. You definitely need at least a light jacket.

I am debating on doing Disney again the same week in 2010.

Thanks everyone we booked march just because of the stay 4nights get 3free! we had to take it it was about 1200 less and we upgraded to the Park hopper! I CAN'T WAIT! 160 DAYS!!!
