We have been to disney a few times before, but this will be out first trip in June. We are going the second week, and we are wondering what it is like? (Temp., crowds) Thanks!

:tink:

its crowded and its hot..
We are going in June too so we will be crowded and hot with you!! :rotfl:This will be our second time and all I can say is be prepared, plan ahead, suncreen and water, water, water!!

Hot and crowded.

Use one of the touring plans, get to all rope drops, take a break when you need one, and try to get rest. WDW makes you tired. . The heat can make you even more tired. WATER, WATER, WATER. We even have a water budget:scared1:

It will probably rain every afternoon for a short while. Bring a cheap poncho.

We are using our GAD vouchers for the FP. This way we can see lots of things and not wait in the long lines. :lovestruc I hope this works.

Good things: The parks are open a long time, the days are longer, and there are lots to do in the air conditioning.

We go in June a lot and really like it. Going again this year. Can't wait!!

It all depends on where you are staying and how old your kids are etc etc... but we found that getting up early taking the mid day break and then staying out late for EMH worked well for us and my daughter was only 9. Depending on how much time you have but a day to just sleep in and do nothing by the pool somewhere in the middle did us wonders. If you dont want to leave in the middle of the day i would at least suggest a sit down restaurant fo a nice air conditioned break...we would do this and then go back and nap..:rotfl:

Unfortunately, it's pretty crowded there in June. The schools have let out and it seems the entire living world is there. I've found that the best day to go to the parks is on Monday through Thurs. You can hang it up on the weekends.

I will be there the second week with ya! I am hoping that with all the snow the Eastern US has, some schools will still be in session making up days ;)

My family and I have been going to Disney World for the past 15 years in June and it is always pretty hot and the crowds can be overwhelming sometimes. We don't push ourselves to stay in the parks all day so once we know we're tired and need to rest we either find a place to sit down for awhile and just people watch or go back to the hotel room and go swimming. I've found the best thing to do is know when what park has early magic hours and then go to different one instead of that park. For instance, Saturdays we've discovered are good for the Magic Kingdom because I can't remember what park opens early but the crowds aren't as bad and we usually can get most of the rides we want to do out of the way first.

We're going in the second week of June, too! Be sure to wear a LGMH so we can :wave2: and say hello!
