Disney in JULY?

MY kids sports schedules is making it impossible to take vacations! UGHH! We have a break from sports in JULY---How is Disney in July?

We have gone twice in March and once in November...

Should I book a July trip or just wait???
Kids will be 11-9-6 in July.

We've gone in July and even got married in July 2009 at the Yacht Club. It's hot but manageable. We usually hit the parks early then the pools in the worst heat of the day. Water parks are great too! Really IMO it's what you make of it. Go with a plan and be flexible while being positive. Go with a commando style rigid plan and a negative pov and it won't be fun.

My nephew's baseball team went to Disney for a tournament at WWOS the week of July 4th last summer and my parents and I went along. I was absolutely dreading it!! I kept thinking that the crowds and heat would be so overwhelming that we wouldn't get to do anything fun. However, we managed to have a great trip, even with heavy rain for 4 of the 8 days. The only time I was completely overwhelmed with the crowd was at Downtown Disney on that Friday night. Even with those outrageous crowds, we only waited 20 minutes at T-Rex using the Landry Rewards priority seating (no reservation). Of course that was with the old Fast Pass system, so I have no idea how FP+ might affect a trip. I would think that if you plan ahead using the crowd predictors and follow all the great tips on here, you will still have a great time. In my opinion, a July trip to Disney is better than no trip to Disney.

I'm a teacher so we always vacation in the summer or over a holiday. IMO - July isn't bad at all. It's hot, but not unbearable. We were there this past July with DS (17 months at the time) and all made out fine! Much less crowded then when I've gone at Easter in recent years. I agree with PP - any Disney trip is better then no Disney trip!
