I was thinking of a Disney trip in February 2009 around family day. Turns out this would fall on President's day weekend. Good idea or not? What are the croweds like? We usually go the first week of September to give you some idea of the crowed level we are use to.

It gets busy around Presidents day. However, it's not like the summer crowds.

Mid February is also when the prices move into the next higher season. Try to go a week sooner.

We took a trip from feb 6-15/07 right before PDW kicked in. If you go the week before like dancin Disney style said then the crowds were low. The week during which PD starts it gets very busy, by Wed before the weekend it was gridlock. The weather can be very iffy. It was so cold a few days we had to wear fleece jackets and gloves. If you don't mind the possibility of some cool weather you will get some nice low crowd days!
