OK, So I am SOOOO super excited!! We are finally going to DisneyWorld!! We have been planning and promising the kiddos for so long now (about 5 years), and it's finally happening!
It's going to be the 1st visit for all four of us! it will be my DH, our DD(9) and our DS (8) and myself.. The kiddos don't know we are going, shoot I can barely keep my excitement under wraps
, so I couldn't even begin to imagine their excitement
So, I planned our trip BEFORE I got the school calander, because the kids usually get out around the same time every year. It even took me forever to work around my DH's job so he wouldn't have to use too much vacation. Anyway I plan our trip Dec. 15th (which happens to be DS's bday) through Dec. 18th at the Art of Animation Resort. I'm thinking YAY we can do Disney at Christmas time without alll the holiday crwds. Well, as it turns out this year school doesn't let out for Holiday Break until Dec. 21st
. WHAT?!?!?! But as I told their principal yesterday "it's Disney World!!" They can miss a few days just no more before and nothing after.
We will be in Hollywood Studios the 15th it's Mama Melrose's for lunch with the Fantasmic papckage and for dinner we are doing T-Rex for DS's bday dinner.
The 16th is Animal Kingdom with breakfast at Rainforest Cafe and lunch at Tusker House.
The 17th will be Magic Kingdom with lunch at Cinderella's Royal Table, this is going to be a little celebration for DD's birthday in Oct.
Finally the 18th is breakfast at Chef Mickey's then off to Epcot. For a late lunch/early dinner at Marakesh and the Candlelight Dinner package.
So far those are the only plans I have nothing is set in stone as far as itinerary and it's kind of driving me crazy
. I know which rides and attractions I want to do just not in what order I am definitely more of a planner, and my hubby says "let's just play it by ear."
If anyone can give me tips about definite must do, especially for first timers I'm listening (or watching I guess (
