Disney in Dec.

Hi, we are thinking about going to WDW in Dec, the 16th to the 22th. Does anyone have any ideal about the crowds? I know that Christmas week is busy but am hoping this week won't be too bad. My only other option is the week after Easter which is supposed to be very crowded I know.

WDW during the holidays is absolutely beautiful! You want to be in primetime christmas spirit..got to WDW. You best be deciding quick if you expect to get dinner reservations and maybe MVMCP...it fills up quick.

DF and i went twice from Dec 14-22 and we had a great time. there were hardly any lines at all for rides, the weather was great, and it looked beautiful through out the parks and resorts with all of the Christmas decorations! i highly recommend it!

Wow, what a great time to go! Crowds should be light...crowds tend to bigger and bigger the closer to the 25th, and then PEAK between the 25th and Jan. 1st (and I mean PEAK, yuck!, GRIDLOCK!--although you can still have fun!). The week you are there you will be wonderful!!!!!!!!!!

We usually go the second week of December (when we go in December). It is a nice time to go but do expect more and more crowds with every day it gets closer to Christmas. Also, I just wanted to add, that the weather is very unpredictable. It was mid 70's and sunny the whole week when we went in 2001 and lower 50's and rainy/cloudy on a few days but never got out of the 60's the whole week in 2005. It was 44 degrees when we went to MVMCP!!
