Disney in DC

DS and DIL told me that there is a sign there that reads
Harbor Front welcomes Disney.

I doubt we'll hear any specifics from Disney for quite some time. If they didn't have anything ready in time to share for the formal announcement that they'd bought the land, it probably means details are a long way off.

We stayed at National Harbor during the Cherry Blossom festival and it was beautiful! We really liked it there. It took about 10-15 minutes to drive to the nearest Metro station. We didn't find it inconvenient at all to do so either. There are numerous places to eat. We definitely would stay there again Disney or no Disney being there. I am just wondering exactly where at the Harbor they are going to put it because the Gaylord has a very large water front footprint. It either has to be on the other side of the Gaylord or right when you pull into National Harbor if they are going to be water front.
