In July we're going to Disney world for 2 days before we set sail on the Magic. Since we don't have much time in the parks I wanted to try something different than what I've done in the past. I wanted to use only black and white film and do the scrapbook only in gray, black and white.

I'm photo obsessed and didn't know if I would be disappointed in how it turned out. Has anyone ever tried to do this before? Was it successful? Were you diappointed? If you did do it do you have any suggestions?
PLEASE HELP!!!

I have thought about it...I may take a few rolls of black and white with me on my next trip.

Try it...show us how it turns out.

I've done a couple of Disney layouts in B&W. I've gone digital and just make adjustments before I print them... is that an option for you?

They work great...just don't use them on Fantasmic! I found out the wrong way! If you do be in the front rows or else they won't turn out!

To Disney...

Digital isn't an option for me.

Tink..
Thanks for the heads up!

Ive done 2 rolls WDW and one roll DL in Black and White- I then scrapbooked them (okay not the roll I just shot yet) in only black, white and silver- I also dug up a ton of Disney quotes (most from Walt) and added one to every layout-

Its very kewl but it does get rather hard after the first dozen or so-If ya want I can post a few layouts from the book-

I did a roll of Black and whites in September and loved all the pics. I have several quotes as well that I will add with those layouts when I get around to that album:crazy: I did not have my digital then so I used my mothers old camera. It was a pain to keep pulling out and then also taking color shots so that is why I only did one roll. But it is worth it and wish I has put a little more effort and done more. However you can always go to a photo store and have them printed out black and white.

You're pages are awesome!!!::yes:: I might have to turn some of mine into black/white, especially after seeing yours.

Great job!!!!!:teeth:

Okay, now I'll HAD to try B&W photos on my next layout. (I have a digital, so I'll just adjust before I print.)

A friend did one of the most beautiful LO's using black and white with an old B & W picture of her grandmother. It had a very classy and elegant look to it.

Emily, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE those layouts! Honestly, I saw this post a few days ago but didn't respond. I just couldn't imagine doing bright, colorful Disney in B&W.... but you made it so beautiful!! Thanks so much for sharing!................P

I was thinking about this, too. I might do one roll of B&W on this next trip.

The jolee vintage Disney stickers would look nice with some B&W pics.

One thing I found is that it is hard to do both color and b&w shots- and I found I didnt get as great shots this trip because I was more focused on gettting the color shots-

One thing that did help was I thought about what I wanted to do in black and white before I went -so that it was easier to remember to take the B&W shots-

Textures work very well and use shadows to your advantage-
