Hi There
Myself and my other friend are looking to experience Disney next year. We are thinking of going around the 20th of August for 7/8 days, and want to cover Disney and Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure (Obviously not in great depth lol!
)
I was hoping you could provide us with any advice on a couple of things:
- Firstly we are going on a budget, where would be the best place to find cheap Disney tickets? And do they offer discounts for students (always worth to ask!)?
- After having a quick browse of the on-site Disney accommodation it looks expensive, we are instead looking for cheap accommodation on International Drive. Do you have any recommendations of places to stay at? As we'll be spending the majority of our time in the parks, we aren't looking for a particularly luxurious hotel!
- As we'd be staying on International Drive we thought we'd get the I-Ride Trolley daily into the Disney parks - Is this the cheapest way of getting around without a car? Or would it be more financially worthwhile staying on-site, or getting a taxi, or hiring a rental car?

Sorry for all the questions! It's a lot to plan and we want to start getting our specifics sorted as soon as possible, so we can get around to actually booking the holiday
Cheers!
