My husband and I are wanting to go to Disney sometime early next year. I've only ever been to Disney in October and he hasn't been since he was a kid. Anyways We were just wondering if April would be a good time to go. We were thinking April might be a little less crowded because kids would still be in school. Anybody know from experience? Thanks!

It depends, sometimes spring break is happening for some schools, so it might be a bit crowded. But I'd say April is a little more ideal, that or late March. Either way, it is a little nicer to go when school is still in session.

Try going to the website: touringplans.com. It tends to have very accurate predictions on crowd levels on specific days. It also helps to show which park is more crowded. It's helped me and my folks out when we needed to figure out which park to go to. Hope this helps.

Agree about spring break, but the nice thing is that unlike Christmas, spring break is usually spread out. My family's been several times during both seasons and April is nowhere near as crowded and the weather is usually pretty nice. Another fun thing is Epcot has the Flower and Garden Festival!

I would avoid the first two weeks of April (especially the first week because that is Easter week) and you should be fine. We went the last week of April 2 years ago and it was great!

We've been several times in late April for our anniversary, and are already reserved for April, 2012. The weather is perfect, not overly hot yet, but warm enough to really enjoy the pool. If you go in late April, we'll be the ones wearing Anniversary buttons (Ummm, us and about a thousand other people!)

I've been to Disney in April 3 times and I love it. I would agree that going at the end of the month assures you that Spring Breakers won't be there. Plus you're there for F&G so it's very pretty.
Good luck and don't forget to wear your ears while you're there!
