Disney in April? Crowds, weather, rainy? 8 mo. old vs. 10 mo. old?

We are still trying to figure out the best days for us to see Disney. Anyone have an idea about when the Spring Break crowds die down? My dd's school spring break is April 13-15 but she is just in Kindergarten so we were thinking maybe it would be better to pull her out of school for a few days and go the following week, the 20th-23rd or the 27th-30th. Which of those do you think will be least crowded? Also, what's the weather like that time of year compared to the first week of March (the other days we are thinking about).

In early March my youngest will be almost 8.5 mo. old and if we wait until end of April she will be 10 mo. Do you think there will be much difference there in how it will be with her for the long car trip & Disneyland? My last dd was 10 mo. old when we went the last time and I remember she was really mobile then and able to play with toys well in the car, etc. I can't remember where she was at developmentally at 8 mo. in comparison. Maybe there won't be much difference?

We don't usually get much rain in April, but the later you go in the month the less likely there will be rain. I think a lot of spring breaks are at the end of March this year, so I don't think April will the that bad crowd-wise (plus a lot of people will be waiting for the May 50th kick-off), but also the last couple of weeks of the month will probably be better than the first couple. March is more likely to have rain (or Santa Ana winds) that would make being there a bit less pleasant. As for which age would be easier, I know my niece and nephew (siblings) were completely different from eachother at that age--my neice was much easier to do those type of things with than my nephew.
