Hello everyone. I just got back from doing a grocery shop at Highland Farms in Mississauga (Hwy 10 and 401 area)and they had the coolest item (pardon the pun). Tubs of Disney ice cream, with flavors like Tigger-Tail, Mickey and Minnie Cotton Candy, a bubblegum flavor with Mike, Sulley and Bo on the front, a Pooh Bear flavor etc... Obviously it is aimed at a younger target market but what a neat treat just before a Disney vacation to get you in the mood, or after to remember the fun! I am not sure who makes it but it is in tubs similar to Breyers and was about $6.00 and there was a coupon to try it. This is the first and only place I have seen it and thought I would share. :flower:

Going to make a stop there on Saturday when we visit Toronto. Thanks for the info.

I also saw the ice cream at the Loblaws (Yonge/Steeles). It was $6.99/2L carton (no coupons :() They had the birthday cake, cotton candy and cookies flavours. My DBF spotted them first and tried very hard to block my view :) In the end, we decided not to get any since we're both on diets. If anyone gets a tub, let me know how it tastes!

I was at Zehrs in Brantford today and they also had it! I didn't get any because I had to make too many stops afterwards and it would have melted. I am going to get some next week though. The kids will love it!

I just bought some this morning. The birthday cake one. I'll let you know what we think of it! I paid 6.99 there were no coupons.

Well all I can really say is YUCK! I'll be taking mine back for a refund. It is very creamy tasting, but none of the boys liked it.
So that is MHO of it. Would like to hear others!

It's funny that I clicked on this thread because I am eating a scoop of the birthday cake ice cream as I type this. On Friday, when DH & I saw this ice cream in Zehr's, we didn't care that it was $6.99 ($6.49 after a 50 cent coupon on the shelf). We bought the birthday cake one and the Tigger one. Both flavors are excellent. It is kind of strange that the Tigger-tail is orange coloured ice cream, but tastes like vanilla. These 2 tubs won't last long in our house.

The price didn't seem that high to me, but my favourite ice cream is Ben & Jerry's which costs about $6.00 for a pint.

I can't wait to try the other flavours!

That comes at somewhat of a relief ... You saved me $7 and countless hours on the treadmill trying to burn off the extra weight :)

You should call/write the manufacturer ... they might give you coupons for free ice cream. The last time I called the manufacturer of Weight Watchers bread to complain, they sent me $15 in coupons as an appology which included a lot different bread products (not just WW).
